John Crampton created the “Lenny SpreaderBox”. John Crampton has been involved in road resurfacing, building and paving in Australia for the last 24 years. The past 15 of those years have been focused on the use of tipper trucks in resealing and pavement work.
In May 2000, he developed a prototype using his experience and that of his father who has more than 40 years of experience. After three years of testing and modification, the current failsafe unit has been in production and is being used. These equipments were developed by those who use them every day. They created technology to support their product rather than technology defining it.
