They offer turquoise-green 1964 Kombi vans and mango-green 59 Kombi vans. The company offers affordable packages for couples. From transporting the wedding crew or guests to the venue to using the van to take photos, they have a package for everyone. Owners Jann and Wally Nykolyn live in Mullaway just 30km north-east of Coffs Harbour. The company only caters for weddings and offers a minimum two-hour hire anywhere between Port Macquarie to Byron Bay. Jann and Wally say that they entered the wedding business because locals began asking them about their vans. It was a brilliant idea because our Nirvana van and Mango van are different than limousines or other modes of transportation.
Mirror Image Weddings, while not the only Kombi wedding rental business in Australia is fully insured, accredited and experienced. Jann and Wally state that they have been registered at the Ministry of Transport since 12 years ago and have experienced many wonderful moments of weddings.
The packages include all you need to make your wedding run smoothly. They contain chilled water, alcoholic beverages, umbrellas and towels, as well as an emergency wedding kit. And of course the duo will provide their undivided services. Jann and Wally suggest booking early and knowing your wedding details, including the location, date, size of the bridal party, and whether you need one or both Kombis.
The couple can cater to all kinds of weddings whether they are on the beach, at the bush, or in a church. Jann and Wally both smile at the end of a day. It’s been a great day. “We love what you do.”
