Joel began plumbing with his father in Grafton NSW as a child. He loved the outdoors, physical work, and didn’t mind getting dirty. When he had to decide what he would do with his future, he knew that plumbing was the right choice. Joel left for Sydney, where he finished his apprenticeship with the well-known Benson and Karney construction company in Sydney’s east suburbs. Joel gained a solid foundation in the plumbing industry as well as knowledge of building and construction. He has worked on a variety of projects, including large construction sites, building new homes and maintaining existing properties in Sydney.
Joel met Belinda who was also a Clarence Valley native and worked in the eastern suburbs. Joel and Belinda returned to Coffs Harbour in 2009, to be nearer to their respective families. They also started Joel Cutting Plumbing.
Together, they dreamed and built a plumbing company that delivers the highest quality work at competitive prices. They also invested in the future Coffs Harbour. Joel and Belinda hire young locals to complete their apprenticeships. They encourage them to start their own businesses by guiding them through their apprenticeships.
Joel has always appreciated the importance of giving back to his community. He has donated time and supplies to local projects such as the Coffs Harbour Community Gardens at the Combine Street Reserve.
We strive to be approachable and accessible in all areas of plumbing. We are small enough that we can take personal pride in every job, whether it is fixing a leaking tap or delivering professional services to large-scale construction projects.
