The Leisure and Lifestyle Programmes in the areas of arts, health and languages, as well as digital media, offer community members an opportunity to meet new people, learn new skills and try something new. In group workshops, seniors can also receive affordable technology training to help them become more proficient in using mobile devices and online resources.

There are specific programmes available to support disadvantaged groups, such as refugees, students with literacy and language barriers, individual tuition, traineeships and customized vocational training.

We are proud of the adult education and training we provide. We are also recognized locally as an excellent provider of Individual Support (Aged care) training. The College’s own aged care clinical skill room allows for more comprehensive training in skills, particularly manual handling. The students are better prepared for the workplace and their overall work experience is improved. Our aged care graduates are highly regarded, and many of them find employment after or during their placement.

Coffs Coast Community College, a member college of Community Colleges Australia (a part of Cooperative Learning Ltd), has access to an extensive range of accredited and vocational training programs, as well as other skills and resources. Our training is more flexible and responsive, with smaller classes than other training providers. Visit: https://cca.edu.au/ for more information.
