Advance Metal Industries Australia was founded in 1984 by two brothers. The company was developed to provide products of superior quality and design. Our tradespeople are proud of their work, but it’s also a policy. Currently employing over 40 people on the team.
The company is licensed to G. James (r) Windows & Door Systems and produces a wide range of aluminium balustrades, decorative pool, boundary fencing and gates. AMIA manufactures security screens and door (Lic no 410315427), and services an extensive customer base across the country.
Advance Metal Industries is now self-sufficient. Our Balustrade Division can design, fabricate, and weld (including tube bending, tube rolling, and welding) in aluminum, steel, brass, and stainless steel. We also create our own profiles and designs. We have delivered and installed many large and prestigious projects, including exports into countries such as Hong Kong and Beijing’s World Trade Centre. Our tradesmen are highly skilled and have years of experience working in commercial and high-rise projects. No job is too big or small!
The Windows division produces a wide range of windows and doors that are distributed throughout Australia. Distribution contracts with well-known national networks have been signed. The division manufactures glass and windows for both local commercial and domestic customers. The standard range includes 136 Double Hung Windows, 048 Casements and Awnings, 131 Standard Slider Windows, Bi Folds, and 245 Sliding Doors.
Our own Powder Coating Plant ensures high quality service and product at all times. This also keeps our lead-times down. AMIA is an accredited painter of Warranty Paints that last up to 15 Years. AMIA stocks over 85 colours, and custom colours are available in mini batches of 3-4 weeks.
Rick and Chris are currently leading the business, and both have over 50 years of experience in the manufacturing and building sectors.
AMIA has been a member since 2004 of the NSW Business Chamber. In 2014, AMIA joined The Housing Industry Association.
